How do you support England ?

Support them by wanting them to win, going to occassional matches. Been out to last few major tournaments. Steer clear of most the england fans congregating together which are basically vermin. But this is easily done - See a bit of the city, have a few drinks, enjoy a some time away with mates that support other clubs.

Well some people find nationalism to be a bit weird.

Nobody chooses where they are born.

If you are born in England (or wherever) and choose to support that nation then sound, but I don't feel duty bound to follow a team/nation that I had not say over.

Besides I hate half the players, I find their football generally dull, even their kit is rubbish and I tend to that England being at a tournament ruins it for me.

Always takes me back to 86, that was the first time I started to feel very meh about the England team, all the players on show, Maradona, Zico, Socrates, Rummenigge, Sanchez etc and all the media were bothered about were giving us updates on Steve Hodge and Terry Fenwick etc.

nationalism and supporting a football team fanatically is exactly the same thing. Said it before, love X team so I hate y team, and their fans. It provides a base element for nationalism.
personslly, I like football. I like to see England everton do well.
Dont really trust people that see football as an extension of their personality
