Normally after a bad defeat my evening goes one of 3 ways

1. Snap at the Mrs, argue then fall out
2. Go to bed sulking
3. Get pissed

Already done stage 1 and 2 but have had 2 heavy nights on the ale so will swerve stage 3.

How does everyone else react?

I carry on with my life in all honesty, 10 years ago i may have gotten moody

This, but only after the game, while it's on it's usually snap at the missus, a few choice words at the iPad/screen/pitch. After the game, a little look at the league to see what opportunities we have missed, sigh, then half an hour later look towards to the next game.
I don't let it ruin my weekend anymore, I was at my worst when I was around 17/18 I think when punching walls after a defeat was my speciality!

Wish I was like that.

Just out of pyar interest, if we were to go down (God forbid) how would you react?
i had a season ticket up till this season, which i only gave up due to work commitments, still really enjoy going the game, but afterwards i found i would just go out an have a laugh regardless of the result, possibly why i am a lot harsher these days on players who everyone says give 100% but are not technically gifted, or are scared of having the ball. if we went down i'd be gutted, i remember all too well our days of playing russian roulette with relegation and it felt like life and death back then, not sure i would be that passionate now, and in the long run playing grim championship teams would probably just make me less arsed

Makes sense to me.

I went for a 15 min walk around the block to let off steam, and alcohol since to fuel the what-ifs and maybes. Should know better by now.

I've been in a foul mood all day, but it's more the nature of our defeat and the fact that it's adding to a long line of disappointments this season. If we lost after a 5 game winning streak, I'd be okay.
