Gonna hit 48 F tonight in Paraguay... and will be a swell 47C when we touch down back in Phoenix on Sunday.... that's a nice shift.

My AC went out a few weeks ago and it got pretty hot and I was very close to checking into a hotel.

Try soaking a hand towel in ice cold water wring it out and put it on your forehead while you lie down.

Pro tip do NOT have the fan blow directly on you. I made that mistake and I'm still fighting a cold 2 weeks later.

It was around 70% today. I've been in Arizona when it's been 40C something but feels bliss compared to this. Don't know how the natives of Florida cope when it gets really hot and really humid.

My dad grew up in Orlando in the 50s before air conditioning was the norm. I asked him onetime how he slept in the summer. His answer was "we didn't".
