How do you keep cool at night in this heat

Bleeding hot outside tonight. All the windows and doors open and it still says 28C inside. Kids are struggling to sleep, looks like it will be a long old night. Any cunning tips GOT posters can share how to keep cool?

Get absolutely smashed and pass out, works for me. Double points if you throw up in your sleep so your bird has to wash the duvet and having no covers keeps you cool.

Bloody yanks!!

Problem is we are already 2 days into our 5 day summer. Just got to survive until Thursday. Bit much to install AC for a few days a year.

I've got the fan on but it's hardly doing anything to help. It reached 31° in Manchester today. People looked even more confused than they normally do.
