We need to lose the passing.

Essentially, it's very apparent we can't break teams who sit back down at all. Not even close.

So we need to give the opposition more time on the ball. Rather than wait for us the inevitably balls it up, let them have it, press them, wait for them to mess up.

We could even do it with the line up that he persists with and I think it could work quite well.

That's what I'd do anyway.

I've said it a couple of months ago in some other thread that we have a boss team to play counter attacking football.

Two excellent, complete full backs, McCarthy and Besic in the middle, Mirallas on the wing and Lukaku up front. Just need another good winger, but I even think McGeady could actually do quite well in such a system.

It's a shame that our style of play is pretty much the polar opposite of what our players seem suited to.

Sadly I think it's quite obvious by now that Martinez doesn't see it the same way.
