Yeah that's fair as long as you don't get your knickers in too much of a twist over it i think. If you just look at the video and go 'what a (insert word of choice here) to do that to an animal' then that's absolutely fine. I don't expect everybody to go veggie or vegan and start helping out in animal shelters, we've all got different priorities and different lines we won't cross .

It's a bit mad though when I see people I know posting on twitter that he should be sacked/locked up etc for this terrible thing that he's done and how could anyone possibly ever hurt an animal, when I know that they happily eat cheap meat and eggs with no welfare standards, watch horse racing, go to the zoo etc. If you go off at the deep end about what a disgrace it is to hurt animals but you will happily allow somebody else to hurt animals on your behalf as long as you don't have to see it, then it's hypocrisy.

The outrage and meltdown over Zouma is over the top. It was Jimmy Carr last week, there’ll be a new news cycle enemy next week and the same curtain twitching beuts will move on projecting their own self loathing onto whoever that is.
