How bad was the ref in the Luton v Man C game last night

Player Valuation: £1.5m
He seemed to be reluctant to book anybody. Particularly the 'plucky underdogs' who constantly pulled, tripped and barged the City players to stop goalscoring opportunities. It shouldn't matter if it appeared that Luton were going to lose - the rules are the rules and it's his job to enforce them (fairly). Players that repeatedly offend should be booked. Don't just wag your finger at them, it makes you look weak (probably because you are). I also noted that he ended the game on exactly 90 minutes, despite there having been second half subs. Weak? You betcha!

Why would a referee play injury time in a cup tie where the score is 6-2?

Its not like goal difference is a factor
