...during pre-season. I suppose we are getting on with life or going on holidays, doing house work, spending time with the family etc. I just want to see the fixtures for a start and I go on holiday in 8 weeks so I've got a lot of time to kill. I'll probably be writing new music and booking some recording sessions over the next few weeks, start work on my next project. I'm gonna use this time to be productive.
 

Not really that arsed to be honest, the break is refreshing. I spent this Saturday in the fresh air, spending time with my kids and enjoying life. I didn't once shout [Poor language removed] at my laptop.

Pretty much this. Got the weather, beers, BBQ's and family.

Life is boss right now.
 

Listening to the cricket. Resting PES on the playstation, and playing cricket games. Looking out of the window waiting for a life to come along!
 
Just finished giving the servants a bollocking.
Gonna head out now and survey all that is mine on the quad.



On the other hand might go the offy and get a few cans of Bulmers FFS!!
 
I've been making loaves from Paul Hollywood's books and making my own sangria. They go well together in the garden.
 

I'll watch basically the entire Confederations Cup (I'm a schoolteacher, free summer) and Tour de France. Those will take me neatly back to pre-season.
 
I thinks fans need the break as much as the players, It's financially and emotionally draining.
 
Luckily the Lions tour to Australia is underway and Wimbledon is imminent, so there are a couple of weeks of televised sports to keep me going. Then the missus and I are going shopping for a new car, followed by a holiday in Italy with her family. By the time we get back the American football pre-season games will be on, and Everton will be in action around the same time.
 
I had a day off today so cycled to the top of the Great Orme in Llandudno then cycled back down the other side....sun was blazing. Beautiful day.
