Roma unveil plans for 60,000 seater Colliseum-style stadium.

Bill....?

...Elstone....?

...Mr Leahy.....?

That looks absolutely horrific, as if the architect really despised non-modern buildings to the extent that he wanted a permanent memorial to him pissing all over the city most famous for wonderful classical architecture. Even the Christians would refuse to be eaten at such a monstrous venue.

It's no Kirkby stadium, that's for sure. There's not even a Tesco next door.

Eternal City or the Townie? You choose.

a mate of mine, who lives in spain and is a Valencia supporter, keeps going on about the New Valencia Stadium, they ran out of money half way through building it in 2009.

At the end of 2013, they submitted plans for a "scaled down version", though the club are 400 million euros in debt, so there is some doubt it will ever be finished. Valencia are essentially stuck in Limbo, they have already spent 98 million on the new stadium, and they need at least another 100 million to finish it

I could just imagine us doing something like this.
