Like any sport it's **** if you don't understand it or follow it. It's more difficult to appreciate if you don't follow. For me, it's my favourite sport. I love it and couldn't imagine a weekend without it.

I'd suggest Chester..
Love Chester race course. Local race course for me is Thirsk, which is nice. Ripon is ok, but a bit upper class for me.

Love Chester.. Our local course is Fontwell.. It's a cracking day out.
I was there a few years back . Four horse race. My horse was last as they went past me on the final bend. I thought " ffs " .
Looked at the result board to find it had won .
