Horror tackles

This challenge happened last night in a game between Rapid Wien and Ajax. One of the worst tackles i've seen.

Can't bring meself to watch things like that :confused:

Witsel's on Wasilewski is perhaps the worst I've seen - can't even bring myself to put it up on here even without having to watch it, it's that bad.

I don't know, the first beheading after 9/11 shook me up a lot more.

The damage is obviously substantially worse, but it's not such a bad tackle. It's very unfortunate that the connection was made just as the guy planted his foot causing the break, and at full speed too.

Don't get me wrong, it was a poor challenge but there was no malice in it. The one in the OP is miles worse, Gerrard-esque in his desire to maim his opponent.
