This has only become news in Ireland because of international news agencies, not local.

That is rubbish.

The details were uncovered by a local historian and genealogist who was researching the home. The story was on the front page of the Irish Mail on Sunday 25th May and has been all over the Irish media since then.

Probably explains why it's getting so little coverage then I guess.

Watch the film "Song for A Raggy Boy"......when you've stopped weeping and wanting to go to your nearest place of worship and pistol-whip the bloke in the dog collar, see how close it is to this horrific story.

Anyone seen the film Philomena? The one with Judy Dench & Steve Coogan in it.

It's basically about this sort of thing. Good film I thought, quite thought provoking.

If it wasn't a 'home of the church' it would be treated as a crime scene. Some of us are so backward when it comes to religion in this country, it appals me
