Hopes for January recruitment?

It's quite clear playing staff needs a shake up and I'm pretty sure moyes will be given the Arteta money in January to use.

What would you like to see done in regards to players in and out???
Maybe a bit footy manager but I'd like to see...

Firstly I'd like to see Billy and heitinga sold which would bring in another 10M to the kitty.

Donovan on a loan deal would be a great addition to give us that immediate impact winger to play opposite drenthe on the other wing.

Lewis holtby would be a main target for me. Can play LW RW ACM And even CM. He's a blue young and very good player. I'd slot him in ACM straight away but following season could easily play RW if Barkley progresses enough to take ACM. Cost of around 7M I would think?

Defender well I have 2 options here. Would really like to try and get Gary Cahill. Price should be no more than 5M given his contract situation but could well be competition for him form spurs, arsenal and maybe the ****e so could be a no go. If not onuhou from city either loan or cheap deal. Can play RB or CB, think he is a good player IMO

Striker well one is deffinately needed can't really give a name. Hoillett from Blackburn should be cheap (contract) vossen, llorente maybe even a gamble on loan for chamake?

Takeover or no takeover I think the board and moyes need to do some hard work to freshen up this squad and hopefully we can have an exciting January....

Onouha, Pienaar, and a Donovan loan is probably the best we can hope for.

I think the post at the top is incredibley optimistic.

Teams harldy ever do as much business as you have discussed in January, as much as we may need it.

Donovan may be the only addition we see and that will depend on our league placing.

I would be stunned if we 'bought' anyone in January. I suspect at best we will have another loan signing, probably a defender and that'll be it. I don't think the Arteta money is there for us to use, more like the Pienaar money, which will probably be used to fund said loan deal.

It's a completely unoptimistic time to be an Everton fan just now, we simply haven't got the ability to build a squad, the one we have peaked a couple or 3 years ago. Until we have someone in charge who is able to put money into finance the purchase of players, the current situation will become the status quo for the forseeable future, just my two pennath!

As much as it breaks my heart, Bily and Heitinga going would be best for the club in my opinion, but I just don't see that happening until the summer. If bids came in for them in January, I think we'd be crazy to not accept, however we need faces coming in before those 2 depart, I don't want us panic loaning again, EVER.

Vrsaljko and Kadlec, 2 foreign youngsters I guarantee will make it, but I guess we're not after youngsters at the moment, we need tried and tested players as we don't have the points on the board with full pockets of cash. Therefore I think we'll go for the older type of player, a possible move for Pavlyuchenko, or Donovan. I'm beginning to think I will take any striker and I wouldn't rule out anyone joining a team in January if they're not getting a game for their current club - see Berbatov, Dimitar. Think loans will be our main thoughts in the window, I know he's young, which goes against what I've just written, but maybe Chelsea would rent out Lukaku for a short stint.

Anyway, we definitely need a creative midfielder and a striker and anyone with some pace (much like we have for the past however many transfer windows). I'd love a new right back, but I don't think Moyes will go for one whilst Neville and Hibbert still have legs.

As Moyes mentioned the other day that he would love to bring donovan back guaranteed they will spend the entire month of jan concentrating on that and telling us expect no new signings. Then at the last minute he will bring in some young player or south american and tell us he had no funds after all
