1: England have done cack at World Cups for ages. This was coming, and not a massive surprise to anyone.

2: Haven't paid much interest, but this is hardly big news. 11 years since we won the world cup...

3: Only because they don't want him to compete against Froome, another *Englishman*.

4: Isn't it 4-3 to Lewis in 'straight' fights? Still plenty of time for him to win it anyway..

Wiggins won it in 2012. Chris Froome won it last year, and is one of the favourites to win it this year.
