Howard's distribution is probably the worst area of his game for me. He only kicks one way out of his hands, has a limited left foot and holds onto the ball far too long when we are looking to counter attack. That being said, he could easily improve if we focused on starting from the back, which isn't our style in the main.

Tap in for sure.
Lol, he picks ball up in own penalty area runs the length of pitch beating several of the opposition along the way and that team just happen to be Chelsea.. a big LOL there because that goal also got Carlo Ancelotti the sack.

The goal against Chelsea was just a tap in then?

touche, forgot about that one, he did take on the whole team for it, but you have to admit that was sort of a one-off. excellent goal but how many times have you seen him completely isolated up top this past season?

as for distin, he's quick, jagielka is definitely quicker, distin is obviously not the type of cb who's game is dependent on speed, thats all i meant by it, and he's only going to keep slowing down as he gets older. obviously distin was excellent last season, one of our best players, but from what i've seen i would say thats one of his weaknesses.
