The question is, who is the mole ?
Last nights plot was tremendous, but ruined (again) by Carrie & Brodie simply driving out of Langley after the bomb attack.
The place would have been locked down water-tight, so no-one would have got away from the scene even with security passes etc.

But for plenty of other people it doesn't entertain them at all, in fact it bores the hell out of them.
I do think it is slow paced. A question will be posed; Is he a terrorist? Who is the mole? And then you will have to wait another 10 episodes to find out the answer. And the first five episodes were almost a carbon copy of each other, with the blonde female asking the bearded paedo whether she can just have an extra 24 hours to prove that the ginger was a terrorist, again and again in every episode without getting anywhere at all. The Bill would have had the entire first series wrapped up in an hour long special.
Far-fetched story lines are fine when they are depicted well; I don't remember too many people moaning that Terminator 2 was a tad unrealistic. But this series is supposed to depicting modern day terrorism/espionage, and is as much of a camp joke as a James Bond film starring Pierce Brosnan.
In fact, the difference between the Pierce Brosnan and Daniel Craig Bond films is a very good example of how OTT far-fetched story lines can be depicted in very different ways. One is a camp joke, and the other is far more gritty and realistic despite the story line remaining OTT and far fetched.
