I'm going to the chelsea game on the 28th and i was looking at the ticket prices for home games and i know we have different categories for different teams but i don't understand why we have wigan, newcastle and west ham as categorie C games, does anyone know why? Tickets for the tottenham game are cheaper then wigan tickets.

Here are all the different categories.

Category A - Liverpool
Category B - Manchester United and Manchester City
Category C - Newcastle, Wigan, Chelsea and West Ham
Category D - Others

Maybe its a Boxing Day Fixture? Not entirely sure if thats true but it could be a possibility.

The Fact the spuds aren't up there is surprising, usually a good atmosphere when we play any of the European Contenders

Just checked and seen that west ham is our last home game of the season though so that would probably explain that one too.

Its not wigan why its a catogory C game, its the day its on. always a busy match day at goodison on boxing day so we are milking the cow. - i wanted to use my cheap £15 adults and £5 kids voucher for boxing day seeing as it was Wigan at home.

i was told its because of the day, not the team. so i gotta wait for Swansea at home.
