Anyone should, not just an "expert"...yet another brand that made their way on the back of heavy advertising. If you want value for money, try Polk audio or, higher up, something from Ohm. It's all subjective though, everyone likes their audio flavoured a bit differently.
I agree, I just wanted the OP to research and come to his own conclusion.

I thought about 5.1.2 and getting roof speakers put in. But the size of the room (and budget) probably won't allow it.

The screen will be fixed. As if it's constantly rolled up when not in use will stretch/warp over time.
Also remember if you are having a projector and screen your light control in the room is crucial. You will be beaming an image onto a white screen, so if the room is light you won't get decent black levels. Complete black-out blinds or a cellar/basement room is ideal. Low reflective walls and ceiling around the screen will help too

Yeah I'm lucky in the room doesn't allow too much natural light in it. Only have two small box windows which can be covered easy enough until I can arrange a permanent fixture.
The painting thing I'll have to put on hold atm as just have other priorities in the house (recently moved in) I'll need to address but have noted it.
Thanks mate.
