I was at the Peter Kay dance for life event last night, a good laugh and raising money for cancer charities. There was a stand taking mouth swabs to identify matches for stem cell donors as there is a massive need and to protect us all - 1 in 2 people in the UK born after 1960 will be diagnosed with some form of cancer during their lifetime. If you are a match and can save a life it is just a simple matter of giving some blood that the cells are drawn from.

Why not help, its just a swab and we are all well used to them due to covid but as I say this is just a mouth swab so no nose nastiness!

Sounds like a great cause. It is unfortunate that cancer has not been eradicated but this sort of research and programs could make a great difference. I lived in the UK I would certainly participate with this, hopefully other people that can will do so.
