Home gym ideas

I didnt realise we had such an avid bunch of gym lovers. I've just started working out at home, I've had access to a gym up until now, just myself in there but the owner was being pestered so he stopped it. I'll get through the next 34 days with a barbell, some plates and resistance bands, just have to be creative. Then when the gyms reopen I'll be wearing jumpers and hoodies for the following six weeks!

Look up Alex Crockford on Youtube (recently been on the cover of Men's Fitness magazine, with one of his workouts featured inside). Loads of good workout vids there, especially for no/little equipment.

Elaborating on the 2 a day for same muscle group

It's really advanced stuff for body building. You basically do a morning workout with heavy loads and and evening workout (8 hours later at least) with lighter weight to failure. The results can be fantastic as you are tearing down an already torn down muscle.

BUUTT there is a lot of room for injury by doing this. You have to know what you are doing and be super careful and most muscle groups don't require this. One can probably do this on chest day and leg day since those are the heavy load and large muscles. Back as well but lots of room for injury if you are doing lower back. Bis, tris, shoulders are not really large enough muscles to need a workout like this
