Utter Cad.
Ever dabbled?

Wine or beer? (or potcheen???)

I've been brewing beer from kits for years now, on and off. Always bottle it - it lasts much better than if in the old plastic keg. Conditions rather well, indeed, if laid down for a while.

My girl's out with a few friends tonight so I'm tucking into a fresh batch of home-brewed bottled bitter. Delicious, and only about 25p a bottle. What's stopping you?

Bargain.

Hic.

Bizarre. I was looking into this for my dad. Where did you get your kit from?

Can't remember, mate - it's been a while and these days i tend to get basic stuff like beer kits and steriliser from Wilkos. Several online websites have all the stuff you need though, from a quick glance.

I'm a bit sozzled here.

distilling spirits is illegal in the uk without license methinks.

Beer and wine is fine.

My mate does a mean elderflower wine.

I've been talking with a friend about making some moonshine. Should be worth a laugh, just need to get the gear. Also thinking about growing tobacco.
Wine and beer coould be fun too, but isn't there a lot of smell involved?

Not from what I recall. My dad used to do it when I was a young 'un and I can't remember anything like that.

Not really, no. The brewing bucket is sealed, as are the bottles, to prevent infection.

Really, it's a piece of piss. The most tiresome job is sterilising the bottles each time (I do it in the bath). It's well worth the effort for 25p for a 500ml bottle, though. Saves me a fortune, if I'm honest. Rewarding hobby, too.
