How much time would you expect to spend with them?

If they are paying for 2 weeks all inclusive in a really nice place for you the kids and your mrs. Would you expect to eat every meal with them? Or is it reasonable to eat with just your mrs and kids sometimes? If so how often?

They probably wont want to eat or spend every waking moment with you either so Im sure you can get time off.

im heading to Goa next week and taking my mother in law, now i ****ing hate the women, but the wife and her can take many a shopping trip whilst i dine on the finest curries known to mankind !

It would be respectful to eat all the main tea meals together unless they state that they would like alone time, breakfast and dinners would be your own choice, that how i would do it.

We've done this a few times with no problems. They're all reds, too, and it went without incident.

They'll want their space too, but make the most of a few extra pairs of hands with the kids.

Don't go. Stay at home on your own.....book a week off work...go drinking with the lads,,,go play golf everyday......will do absolute wonders for your relationship in the long run.
