Really need va holiday this summer but the thing is my son is only 4 weeks old. So we're not going to take him abroad. We like caravan holidays but this time of year there so expensive. Anyone got any ideas for a good holiday in the uk? My daughter is turning 5 so she needs constant entataiment.

Or any good caravan sites that have loads to do an in a nice place?

Tarz larz...

have a look at Crearly Meadow in Cornwall, we've just booked last week in July. Got a 3mth old and a 3 yr old so in similar boat. Gangs of stuff for your 5yr old to do. Also check out the lovecamping website.

Centerparcs is a good shout, I turned my nose up at it at first, cos of the price. However there is lots to do, and loads of nothing to do. I love it. Especially in June or July when it's warmer. It's even a contest versus a hot foreign holiday because of the ease.

It's not cheap but it's highly recommended.

I friend has just come back with his 3 kids and said it was excellent for them, Lots and lots for them to get involved in

Defo centre parks. Some of my best memories as a kid there. Also decent fun for adults to. Loadsa stuff to do as a family. Couldn't reccommend it enough for families with young kids!

West Wales is great!

Tenby, Newquay, anywhere along Cardigan Bay is great, stunning part of the world too.

Great shout that, we go to aberporth or tresaith at least 3 times a year. However would say not loads and loads to do. Chill out holiday really. But there is always the beach which you can't beat.

Wales is **** mate. Don't go there. They're just begging for you to put some money in their faltering economy. X

We had a holiday earlier this year at a Haven Caravan Park ...Presthaven Sands, Prestatyn...Was half-price £150 for a 6 berth caravan. Might be doing some deals now, I'm not sure. Took my 32 mth old grandson. He loved it, plenty to do and trips out. Brother-in-law has just been to Hafyn-ny-Mor ..The old Butlins Pwllheli camp, now a Haven site, with his two youngsters..5 and 2

My mother in law lived on the presthaven site for 3 years in a caravan.... just across the grass behind the pub at the entrance. We used to go there to stay every couple of weeks when the kids were growing up and had loads of fun.
