I went to watch a game once. It seemed more complicated than I imagined. Not just guys skating around an ice rink trying to smack a puck into a net.

Winter Olympics 2010, Men's Ice Hockey final: one of the most exciting sporting fixtures I have ever witnessed.

Definitely a sport I would go and watch in the flesh if I lived in the US or Canada. Miles more exciting than basketball or baseball (albeit that not's exactly a high bar). Some of the rules are a mystery, but equally I've made no attempt to educate myself in that regard.

My exes kid plays it...I used to play field hockey.

It’s basically five a side but chicks show up and watch so you don’t have to lie about being good.
