Anyone been watching the Hockey?

I haven't watched hockey since the GB mens team won Gold in the the 1988 Olympics. It's a pretty decent game, does anyone play or follow it?

For our US contingent, he means Hockey played on grass/asto turf, not your ice thing.

And no.

I play and have done since I was 16 (36 years). It's a great game to play and watch similar to football in formations and tactics.

I have to say I do enjoy it the odd time i watch it, I may start watching it a bit more.

Fantastic game - used to play loads - not as kind on the knees and back as footy like :)

I can imagine it hurts getting hit at high speeds by flying balls and I bet getting whacked on the shins with a stick hurts lol. I thought it would be more popular.

I watched the highlights of the women's game the other day where they lost to the US I think it was, don't mind it to much but don't think I'd make a habit of watching it.

I don't feel this need 'Field' in brackers.

Hockey is on a field.

Ice Hockey is on ice.

And i've seen bits and bobs. The Dutch ladies are a delight.

More popular down south isn't it?

Not sure, you don't really hear of any teams, I wouldn't know where to go to play if i wanted too. I know a club who has a hockey pitch around here but can't say I ever hear of them. Plus it's ladies.
