You can understand why certain players would feel uncomfortable with a gay man in their team (men sexually attracted to men). They may not want an openly gay man potentially ogling them while they are showering.

Fair play to him. I do hate this 'hunt the gay footballers' thing though. Let them come out in time if they want to, if they don't, that's fine also.

Some of the earlier threads hit the subject ,how can a world cup be held in a country where being gay is against the law? Does this not laugh in the face of what is being said about support ,and change within the sport?I really do feel that the players themselves , or indeed countrys themselves should boycott the world cup if the world governing body are incapable,to inept, to corrupt to act themselves .
