Hillsborough - Daglish breaks silence

One of my best mates died at Hillsborough, and I always remember Kenny Daglish at his funeral and in the months that followed, visiting the family.

Football rivalries aside, I have the utmost respect for the man.

Dalglish was a superb player who broke my heart in 1986 - but I forgive him..

On Hillsborough, of course, all football debate is unnecessary - this was a tragedy for many Merseyside families who must still ache with the loss of a loved one. Seems to me that Kenny - who wasn't the most articulate man in the world - understands the events in 1989 better than most.
