I don't know if it's been posted up already on here, so forgive me if it has but certain people on bluekipper are thinking of making a huge banner to take to the semi final should we get there to remember the 96 fans who died at Hillsborough in 1989. I think it's a fantastic idea and one we should all give our support to.

I wont be showing my support to be honest. I still feel bitter towards one or two Liverpool fans i know that spouted off vermin in the aftermath of our Cup Final defeat.

I have no problem with A banner showing our support for the unfortunate losses and the families that have had to suffer them.

But do we have to take Bluekipper with us? :P:P:P:P

It doesn't matter what the living have said or done. 96 lost souls (all of them our kin, if we're honest) should be honoured and remembered.

If it helps to heal some of the poison that seems to exist now between the two sets of fans - all the better.

I well remember walking from Villa Park that day back to my car. The euphoria of winning was uppermost as I left the stadium. With each policeman that I passed, I was given an update on the death toll. By the time I got to the car, I was numb. And very worried about relatives that I knew were at Hillsborough that day. (Somehow, the Birmingham bobbies seemed to know what it would mean to Evertonians that so many scousers had perished. Each one gave us the latest news as we passed. Well done, West Midlands constabulary...)

These boys, girls, men and women were going to a match just like we were. That's what I mean by calling them our brothers and sisters. It should have been an enjoyable occasion.

This isn't a topic that has anything to do with football rivalry - it's about more important stuff. Ask Timmy Cahill...he knows.

I wont object but i certainly wont show any support to it neither. If they want to do it, its upto them. I personally feel this will be opening up a big can of worms though

Some fellow Evertonians make me ****** sick at times

Just because you want to support it, dont have a go at those that wish not to. I have no problem with you doing what you want so what is your problem?? I have my beliefs and you have your own and that is a fair deal. Chill out lad.

If someone chooses to not to support something that is their choice. They are not insulting you for your beliefs. I do not speak for HB, he can do that himself.

He understands why you want to support. That is your choice.

I personally understand why I will support it, that is MY belief. I will not condemn him for HIS belief.
