tony should start over neville everyday. better tackler and brillaint crosses,and hes scouse. but really he plays his hart out.

He's quicker, younger, has more stamina, is better defensively and can cross a ball too. I don't think there's really a question anymore.

If he loses his place to Nev then it's a backwards step for us I think. Moyes has done a good thing benching Neville, as it shows that now no one (except Cahill) is undroppable.

Saying this I'm sure Nev will play on Wednesday, but as long as Hibbo is back next weekend it's all good!

yeh mate,at one point in the match yestaday ...i fought neville was gunna come on as our last sub..i would have been really pissed off.now i can take my beckford shirt back..hibbo is going on the back.

Very much this. I think Nev should perhaps play against the top teams away, more leadership etc.

If Nev plays Wednesday then fine, it's the carling cup and he needs some games. I'm not saying to never play him again.

I just think Hibbo should be the first choice RB at this point.

Not his greatest fan but .. yup he had a fine game yesterday and put in a good shift (as he always does) .. agree with zed probably his best for quite some time. he looked assured.

I have been Hibberts fiercest critic over the years but he played very well from the highlights i saw. Neville is pitiful and isnt capable of the work rate that Hibbert showed.
