I come from down south and no one in my family has much interest in football so I was never really exposed to it as a child. But I gained an interest in it as I grew up but I was at an odds because I had no club to support because of no family influence. I hated Arsenal (the most supported team around me) because of their fickle fan base and lack of authenticity and always liked Everton because they represent the opposite. It is only recently when Martinez has taken over I have really fallen in love with this club.
