Hi from deepest Somerset

Just joined the community as I need some Blue injections!
I have been a Blue since I was about 7. I am now 73! Yes we r born. Many ask why am I besotted with The Blues. Well first like all kids we supported the top team . When I lived on the Wirral Everton were the 1st Division team. The other lot were in the 2nd division!
So no brainier it was Everton for me. Dad took me at first but soon me and mate travelled by bus, ferry and bus to all home matches! Reckon we must have been about 10. We were looked after at matches by a gang of dockers who saved our spaces with crush stanction behind us and a couple of beer crates to stand on. They were fiercely protective of "our boys". Bad language was quickly shouted down by them. Our position was Goodison Road ,just past half way line towards the church. The terraces went right back under what is now the main stand. Happy happy days.What are your earliest memories ?

Bet you have plenty tales to tell. Must be difficult to be so steeped in Everton history and now live so far away. How long is it since you moved to the land of cider?
