"So, Evertonians sing, with pathetic self-pity, “Thirty-nine Italians can’t be wrong.â€￾ Well they weren’t. We were. I was."

They can't help themselves can they? Even in an article like this they have to be ****ing nasty. Even the guy who wrote this article is clearly maggot vomit.

They're a very cynical organisation. Their fans by and large are tits, but the worst of Liverpool FC is and always has been found in their boardroom.
talk about hitting the nail on the head. Davek old son i salute you as an evertonian that can see right through the sick charade that is LFC.

Having a discussion on another forum where some kopite is claiming that ' a memorial service has been held at Anfield for years'. I'm fairly sure there was nothing until the 25th anniversary 2 years ago. Anyone know anything about this ?

The first and last thing they did was when Juve played them at Anfield in 2005 I think, They placed leaflets on there seat and held up something in the KOP, Needless to say the Juve fans where less than forgiving

Yeah, and that wasn't exactly a memorial service.

Listen they would love nothing better to bury this and never let it surface again,They thought a few banners and a "Sorry about that lad YNWA" was enough

The fact that it had taken until they played them live on tv in 2005 to do anything speaks volumes about there club
