Hello friends, my name is Chris. I am from New Orleans, Louisiana, U.S.A. Currently live in San Diego, California. Glad to be here with y’all.

Where about are you from?: New Orleans

How did you find these forums?: Google searched “Everton Forums”

How did you become an Evertonian?: the first football match I ever saw on TV was an Everton match and I am certain of it. In the United States, we were unable to watch the Premier League until 2001. Approximately November or December 2002 or 2003, I remember flipping through the channels and I saw “soccer” on Fox Sports tv. What instantly struck me was the camera angle looking down on the “field” and how i could see the rain droplets hitting the players thinking “who plays in this kind of weather?” Well little did I know, I was watching an Everton match at Goodison Park. Still to this day I cannot figure out which date & opponent that was. I’ve gone through the archives and left with more questions.

Your all-time favourite Everton player?: Wayne Rooney

Your current favourite player?: Jordan Pickford / DCL

Pineapple on Pizza, Is it socially acceptable? What are your views?: I am of Sicilian descent and very aware of Italian tastes… this is blasphemy. Forza Italia (my national club)

Welcome. Hope you stick around and get involved. ;)The forum humour might take a bit of getting used to for some newbies lol but it's a great place when you get used to it.

Yeah that’s nothing I can’t handle. I’m in law enforcement and frequent on Tigerdroppings.com a forum for my school in Louisiana. Majority responses are sarcastic. Just wanted to be a little more involved and active with like minded people. Do you have an Everton tattoo?

Been thinking of getting the number 18 tattooed on one eyelid and 78 on the other, with perhaps the tower on my nose. I've not made a final decision yet. What do you reckon?

Anything with Rupert’s tower is a winner. I google them every now and then for shits and giggles. No tattoos here. The color blue looks better than a bird in red

Welcome to crazy town. Also, perhaps you know that the closest English footie team to NOLA is Wycombe Wanderers (in League One), owned by Rob, Pete, and Missy Couhig. Rob Couhig ran for mayor of NOLA and also Congress. But Everton is your best bet if you want to be let down 72% of the time but have the best-of-the-best highs for the rest of it.

Yeah, I've survived 69 years without one. Don't think I'll bother now TBH :D
I don’t even have a New Orleans Saints or LSU Fightin Tigers tattoo. Probably just going to pass on the ink all together

Yeah I knew about the Couhigs and Wycombe... Mr. Couhig went to Catholic High of Baton Rouge. Volunteered coaching baseball there one year. Side note: my brother-in-law, over in Dublin, Ireland, is a red bird so he has been letting me have it. My sister talks smack to me, which is kind of funny.
