Remember going to Hereford for the last away game of the season when Wrexham won the 77-78 3rd division had a good day out with about 10,000 wxm fans ( maybe exagerating a bit but there was a lot )

IIRC it was the same day we stuffed Chelsea 6-0 and big Bob got his 30 goals. Was a good night in Wrexham after as well:)

when you think 12 months ago the club had ceased to exist, then it was remarkable to get there in the first place.

fans must be disappointed , but they had walked the league they were in so it probably won't do any harm for them to realise it's not going to be a walk in the park back to the football league. think the division they go to next is southern league div 1 west.

today the attendance is 4381 v a side called Westfields fc, it's level 9 of the football pyramid (midland combination league).that is quite remarkable, if memory serves me right ,they would get about 2000 in div 2.
great to see the club fighting back.

It is a derby, only a mile or so separates the two grounds !
