Help re...Sony Ericsson K850i

Strange problem this. My daughter has a K850i and when she switches it on it says searching. Then the thing switches itself back off then on again. Wont let me get at the menus and just has a blank screen even though its on. Any ideas besides dropping it in a bucket of water? If I could get the menu screen on I'd reset the factory settings but cant do anything with it. Its unblocked to any network but is useless the way it is.

Probably has but kids tell you nothing. I think thats where the problem lies to be honest.

this could be spot on i know there is a new super blutooth thing going about that can make people shut down others phones and you dont even need to accecpt them on phone
