Help plan (ruin) my trip

Not going to bore you all with a full diary of our visit, but we had a great time at the game and in the City. Stayed near City Centre and enjoyed that, but probably had a bit too much of it as well. If Mrs Nigh saw one more bachelorette party I think she'd explode. It was the gala bash (with live band) for some poor kid's first birthday that almost put her over the top (but again that's probably due to where we stayed more than anything else.) She has put Desperate Scousewives in her Hulu queue, so there's that...

We certainly didn't get to do everything we wanted, and there are quite a few great things that we surely missed, but for what we did we enjoyed it greatly. We ran across the hideous Americandy shop that I'm sure Mikey has mentioned (brave if you enter there, but America has some great candy and I saw they sell Jones Soda) and a few other interesting places. (Thanks again for the comments and suggestions here.)

The game was great as was everything around it. The pub before the game, walking around the ground, Goodison itself... we're quite glad to have made the last match (simply worked because this is when we had people who could watch our kids) and I've got approval from the Mrs Nigh to bring the kids when they're old enough (unless she decides to return first). I tried to get her a Lukaku shirt ("When would I wear it?", she asked) but I'm sure if should could get a "Proud to be Blue" shirt she would have bought it. Her only complaint is that she loves to wear red skivvies, but now feels conflicted wearing these... I guess that's up to me to figure that one out.
