Finn McEwen, a seven year old lad from Crosby is in desperate need of a bone marrow donor. He faces a real risk of developing leukaemia if he is not matched to a donor soon.

His family have set up a Facebook page where they post regular updates, however they have still not had any luck finding the match that their son needs.

They are asking people to register with www.deletebloodcancer.org.uk in the hope that a match may be found soon. Please do! If you are unable to register to become a part of the donor register then please share it on anyway!

EDIT: I appreciate that this won't be for everyone, so please do not sign up unless you're confident that you'd be happy donating, as it costs them £40 for each time they have to vet a sample.

Im in a doner register me self and always ready to go through that process if needed.

I hope that kid finds a match. Thumbs up for the little fella!

Lads/Ladies...

I'm gonna go HUGELY off topic here but do bear with me. It's an ask, for a bit of help from you lovely folk...

On a non-footballing note - (and from a personal point of view) - I should say our club have been AMAZING this week, from Rob Elstone to the media/PR team down to the manager, players, SHARPY & those at EVERTON TV, faultless all.

The CLUB response & input has been both swift & overwhelming, truly above and beyond & based on that alone I don't think I've ever been more proud to support the club I do...

So, some of you may have seen it already, on TV, in the paper, across the web. FINN is the little boy of a friend, he is 7, he's a dude & a little blue from a family of blues. I won't go into detail here, have a look at the link if you can, but FINN needs a little bit of help & luck at the moment. Even if you can just spread the word, that'd be cool, if you'd consider registering, well, that'd be pretty well amazing also...

FINN needs a HERO, it is that simple, and that HERO could be you or someone who reads a re-post or someone who sees a link...

In short; there's someone out there that can change EVERYTHING for this little dude and his lovely family.

So, he needs some help, and he's a blue. That's all we need to know really isn't it? Y'know, it's a FABRIC thing innits...
