Hello Evertonians...
Allow me to introduce myself.
I'm a life long Man City fan (and yep I do live in Manchester) and have been a season ticket holder at MCFC since 1983 (when you actually did get a ticket book and not a piece of plastic). My first game was at Maine Road in the late 60's as a nipper in short pants. So whilst I haven't seen it all - I've seen most of it! ;-)
Been through the dark, dark days of the old division 3 travelling to Wycombe away on a rain sodden Tuesday night to watch us get beat 1-0. York away, Macclesfield away along with Notts County and a few more to come out the other end and be where we are now. I still don't believe it's happened to us and I need to pinch myself on regular occasions to make sure its real.

I've always had a soft spot for Everton particularly after I went to Luton v Everton in 1986 (I think) the year you won the title (I was living in Luton at the time, but that's another story for another time!). I got a ticket in the away end and loved the banter with your fans. I think you got beat 2-0 but played a load of reserves as you had already won the title. I honestly still think the majority of your players were still totally drunk from celebrating your win, but it was the mid 1980's remember.

We also have a more than a bit of history between our two clubs with the likes of Howard Kendall and the colony of old Everton players he brought with him such as Adrian Heath, Mark Ward, Peter Reid, Neil Pointon, Gary Megson & Alan Harper to name but a few! Also with Richard Dunne, Paul Power, Andy Hinchcliffe, Terry Phelan and Earl Barrett, Sylvain Disitin and more recently with Gareth Barry & Joleon Lescott. not to mention the great Joe Royle and the one and only Joe Mercer. I won't mention Mangala as he only went to you on loan!

My favourite all time Everton player is Paul Power, a legend for both of our clubs and my current favourite is Richarlison who has a bit of class about him. I have been to Goodison Park on more than a few occasions down the years and always enjoyed it - apart from not being able to see anything whilst stood at the back of the away supporters stand trying to watch the game via a slot that looks like a pillar box! Last time I went was for your home leg semi-final against City in the Caribou Cup when you beat us 1-0 (Lukaku scored with a header I think?)

Is pineapple on pizza socially acceptable? Most definitely yes and even better if accompanied by onions and prawns with some bacon or Chorizo (don't knock it until you have tried it boys!)

How did I find your forum? Via the MCFC forum Bluemoon. A few of your lads posted on their during the title run in this season to give us encouragement to sustain our challenge and deny the world's most over hyped football club across the way from you who have the most horrible, spiteful & deluded fan base I have ever had had the misfortune to come across. Now we know exactly what you have had to put up with all these years.

So that's me and I look forward to reading your posts and thoughts and occasionally throwing one in myself.

Anyone who hates that shower is always welcome here mate.

There`s a few lads from City on here who post quite regularly, so you won`t be too lonely ;)

Welcome. Look forward to your input, even though your taste buds are obviously damaged.
I'm sure you'll remember this. Power scoring (and trying not to celebrate) on his return to Maine Road.
