Hello all of my fellow Blues lovers! I shall do my best to answer your questions for new recruits in a succinct and forthcoming manner and I look forward to calling you all mates and chaps in the future. :)

Where about are you from?
I'm from Houston, TX, USA.

How did you find these forums?
I did a search on the interwebs and your site was the first one to appear in the results. While I watched the match against Burnley today, I followed along with you in the live thread. When that was over I took a spin around the place and decided I might like to sit a spell.

How did you become an Evertonian?
Well that's a funny story actually. I was walking my parakeet when out of the blue Tim Howard appeared, tossed me a Chang beer, and then proceeded to tell me all about how there's a pot o' gold at the end of the rainbow. Just kidding, none of that really happened. My story is probably a very cliched one in that I've been watching the World Cup matches through the years when on television. Following the U.S. team in the last World Cup, I really enjoyed watching Tim Howard. I wasn't sure where to go though when the cup was over and even though I knew we have our own MLS team here it just fell out of mind. However, about a month ago or so I happened to see BPL soccer on one of the channels and decided to give it a go. The teams playing were Liverpool and Everton. While I'd missed the first ten minutes or so I'd managed to wonder into the Merseyside derby! Then I saw Tim Howard as goalkeeper for Everton and wanted to watch the rest. When the match was over I was so disappointed I'd missed the first ten minutes. But it was so exciting! Now of course, I had no idea what a Merseyside derby (pronounced darby hehe) was and why everybody was so happy to have a draw. Anyway, after researching the derby, the team and its history I decided I wanted to be an Evertonian and now that I knew of a place I could watch all of their matches I didn't want to miss any more of them. Since that derby, I've taken it upon myself to learn about points and relegation and even who the players are LOL! I've been watching every match I can on Saturdays and Sundays to learn more about the rules and other teams - I still don't understand offsides though. I bought an Everton scarf off eBay and we've won both times I've worn it so on game days I will make sure I continue wearing it. So now that I've written a novel here I should probably move on to the next questions before I get the boot. Ha!

Your all-time favourite Everton player?
As a new Evertonian, I don't really have an all-time favorite (oops favourite) yet.

Your current favourite player?
I'm still learning the players (remember I'm a noob) so other than Tim Howard I'll go with Phil Jagielka for now as he scored the first ever Everton goal that I saw.

Pineapple on Pizza, Is it socially acceptable? What are your views?
Pizza and pineapple are two things that should never touch each other. It certainly sounds icky but what do I know as I've never tried it. So if pineapple on pizza floats your boat then go for it. Myself, I'm more of a pepperoni, onion, and mushroom kinda gal. :)

Welcome to GOT @Lori

After perusing the place and deciding to stick around afterwards you have a good chance of fitting right in.

Poor you ;)

There used to be a usergroup that I set up for you 'gals' so that you could hang out together, and i gave protection from any unwanted attention should it materialise.

Sadly I am no longer able to send out invitations to The Reidettes but if you wanna be 'in' then the invite is here.
