Hi blues! Long time GOT lurker here, but decided to get involved and post more!

I’m a local lad but I no longer live on Merseyside anymore. I was a season ticket holder in the lower gwladys for 5 years before I moved over here to Tokyo 5 years ago.

Being 6000 miles away from home has its ups and downs. I really miss going to the match and watching away games in the pub with my brother. But on the flip side, I can watch every single PL game in HD for about 7 quid a month with this cool app called DAZN. Plus I don’t have to deal with Kopites at all anymore...that is total bliss (especially this season).

Anyway, nice to meet you all! COYB!

Where in Tokyo are you? I'm back in Wallasey now but used to live in Yokosuka and Yokohama. Lovely place and lovely people. Hope you're having lots of fun out there.

I live on west side close to Nerima, and I’m actually also from Wallasey! Yokohama is a great place too, I often go there for a day out.

Thanks, I love it here!

Don't know Nerima that well but worked in neighbouring Shinjuku for a bit. My better half is Japanese. She's from Kyushu originally but her family now live in Koto-Ku. Tried to convert some of my friends over there. Handed out a load of old Everton shirts. Didn't make much difference :(
You're right about the lack of RS over there though. Helped me get through the horror of 2005 almost unscathed.

Well done mate, was in TK recently and loved it. Japan is a great country. Like you said though, big downside is having to be up all hours watching the football. Welcome to the forum, you are no longer a gaijin.
