I'll just answer the recommended questions and see what happens from there:

Where about are you from?:

I'm a southerner from England. Half-English, half-Irish.

How did you find these forums?:

Just Googled Everton forums when I wanted to see what people have been saying about recent Everton performances.

How did you become an Evertonian?:

From the age of 7, when I was following the FA Cup in 1984 with a wall-chart. Yes, I started out a glory hunter, although with Everton's recent form I think it is safe to say I don't put glory before loyalty.

Your all-time favourite Everton player?:

Probably Neville Southall, but honorable mentions go to Adrian Heath and Kevin Sheedy.

Your current favourite player?:

Seamus Coleman, but honorable mentions go to Ross Barkley and Kevin Mirallas.

Pineapple on Pizza, Is it socially acceptable? What are your views?:

No, it is a horrible idea, although here in Japan I have seen much worse: potato on pizza, egg on pizza, seaweed on pizza! Fish eggs on pizza!!

Welcome pal ;)

Welcome mate

Welcome to the forum mate. Good answers.

As for the egg on pizza, I was out with someone on Friday that had an egg in the middle of their pizza, proper wrong'uns.

Cheers for the welcomes!

I'm a traditionalist when it comes to pizza. Tomato, cheese and meat are all good. Peppers are not bad too. But some people have some very silly ideas and will start putting on whatever topping enters their heads.

How is the Sakura? or is it too early yet?

Living in Osaka, I am sure you will have visited Kyoto which at this time of the year is amazing!

SHORYUKEN!

Where in the south you from mate? How come you're in Japan?

Actually, a bit all over the place, but mostly Wiltshire and Sussex. Went to Japan to teach English!

Welcome mate.

Excellent pizza answer.

Lovely.

Thank you! And just to show that I was not joking about the Japanese toppings, here's a webpage to prove it.

Still a bit early for cherry blossom viewing. First week in April is usually the best time around here, and yes, Kyoto's best in the spring or autumn when it is neither too hot and humid or cold and bare.

hello and welcome

post plenty and join in the fun.

enjoy

Cheers! Thanks for the welcome.

Osaka's one of those places where it's nice to live but I wouldn't want to visit! lol

I hope your sister was okay in the tsunami. That one hit Sendai hard.

She was there two years, but left before the tsunami. It went where she was though; she was quite lucky as much as those who were there at the time were unlucky. One of the schools she taught was Arahama, which was brutally hit. I think most of the kids in school were ok, but obviously none were unaffected.
