I wonder if anyone knows how to direct message someone? Or if it’s even possible!

Welcome to the forum!

It is possible, but you have to have either 5 or 10 posts before you can DM.
After that it's the envelop on the top right

in the tool bar, (top of page), there is an envelope sign. Click on that, and away you go

Thanks guys. I had the envelope but not the capacity to start new convos, but now it is there. I think now I’ve posted enough on threads to have earned the right!
