Wow, watching reports of this on sky news, Helicopter hit a crane and crashed, early reports suggest that 1 person was in the Helicopter. Doesn't sound too good.

I live in Vauxhall and got woken up by this loud bang, followed by a very odd sort of tearing noise and wondered what on earth had happened, have heard sirens ever since.
Reports are saying it's knocked a crane off St. Georges Tower.

Awful news, but that could have been a lot worse.
Scary stuff. Vauxhall is a really busy part of town so yes, very lucky more weren't hurt.

Aye, heard that. Odd place for an embassy, you've got to wonder if the "neighbours" were a factor in the move.

I think its more that its the cheapest, nearest, best-connected place to central London for a new embassy... though they must have made an absolute and literal fortune from the sale of their current embassy so they could afford to live anywhere, especially as they dont pay tax on anything.
