what on earth are you on about?

For starters, the girl has gone through her second operation on her legs a couple of days ago (took 10 hours & needed another blood transfusion) but thankfully she is doing well, will be discharged in a few weeks, but will need MONTHS of intensive physiotherapy.

NOBODY is defending him, and I mean NOBODY. Not even his family. He has been a reckless idiot who has endangered lives and has changed for the worse a young girls life. He's in court this month (23rd I think) and I hope he gets a lengthy prison sentence.

You need to remember that good people do bad things, and bad people do good things. Life isn't black and white.
