Heavy Rain

Terrible control scheme, but for narrative junkies like me it's fantastic. More of an interactive movie than a game, but it's pretty spectacular.

And from a financial standpoint, if you buy Heavy Rain now it will be cheaper than Mafia II, and then if you buy Mafia II later it will be cheaper. Obviously.

Heard so many mixed reviews of it, but think i'd like to give it a try. It seems like a game you need to spend a bit of time with...which I never seem to have.

Red Dead lid, just completed it. That apart, not much.

That's a frustrating one for me.

I dislike Rockstar's games and well... I hate westerns.

:-/

Controls though are supposed to be a selling point.

Really? Everyone I know who's played it, is in agreeance with me.

That said, you do get used to it. It's just the movement that's the problem (You have to hold R2 and then move the joystick, but it's clumsy. You'll often walk into walls, or turn like a robot -- it detracts from the serious moments in the game, shall we say!!).

But don't worry, it doesn't come close to making it any less of a must play.

Nah its ace man. I'm fond of the online [Poor language removed] where you shoot one of your own team mates on purpose, repeatedly.

I had some serious cussing my way from nerdy gangstas.

That sounds like you, alright.

Heavy Rain was a great game, should be pretty cheap now aswell.

I heard they're gonna re-realease it too use that MOVE thing.

They are. If you're going to get the move thing, I'd hold off for that version, because wiimote style control would work a lot better.
