I work with these two chaps who spend all day eating superfood salads. Any time anyone brings biscuits or cakes in, they always refuse them.

I, on the other hand, have a 6 pack of McCoys on the go at any one time and will have a chocolate bar a day, standard.

I don't get people who can't cut loose once in a while and enjoy themselves.

In a way, you're more healthy than them.

Maybe they enjoy the healthy food?

It's a sickness. ..

I think healthy eaters push through a barrier after a few months where they no longer fancy sugary foods all the time, they're no longer addicted to it. If I eat healthily for a week, you can guarantee I'm craving a mars bar. I reckon once you've gone cold turkey and pushed through then you're less and less inclined to eat junk as time goes on.

Probably a bit of that. I don't think I've eaten a chocolate bar for months. Have a bit of dark chocolate on my porridge of a morning, but there isn't a craving for sugary stuff at all, and certainly not fast food. Each to their own though.

McDonalds is probably the best example I can give actually. I'd place it as the lowest form of junk food compared to chippy, chinese, indian etc. Haven't had one in months, close to a year in fact, and in the past when I've done this and had it as a one off, my stomach has practically screamed why? at me.
