Haye v Fury Press conference

Put it this way if Fury went in the ring with either of the Klitchkos it won't last long.

I very much doubt we will find out, I dont rate fury that highly, but I'd like to see it, a prime vitali would smash fury all over the shop, but he is well past his best, I'd expect wlad to be too skilled and win a snoozefest, but it would at least be interesting seeing him deal with a bigger man

Tyson Fury is a domestic-level fighter, lower European standard at best, who has got lucky after being able to give it the verbals to the media and sell himself beyond his abilities.

He'll be found out against any half-decent opposition. Hell, he's been already found out at domestic level when he was schooled by McDermott who was robbed of the decision. Even the journeyman Cunningham has put him on his arse.

He's avoided an embarrassment from Haye to be honest. It'll be utterly hilarious when he eventually sticks his neck out too far and a genuine talent knocks his head off. Can't wait.

There's that shallow a pool of decent heavys I wouldn't be shocked to see him go top 10 at some point. I imagine the arl fella who beat Price will be the fight he looks for now.

He's fought absolutely nobody of note though. Martin Rogan would have smashed him five years earlier, but he fought him when he was finished, and the only other name of note on his record is Kevin Johnson, and even he was fought on the back of a loss and cherry picked on the decline.

Fury is nothing to write home about. Povetkin, Helenius, Adamek... all lacklustre yet all a billion miles more talented than Fury and would deal with him inside six rounds. Even Arreola would demolish him. Hell, I'd back Sprott safe in the knowledge he'd destroy Fury!

No chance Tubes. I'm under no illusions as to Furys ability but those two are next level awful. There isn't really anyone of note to fight. Price was fighting Skelton and they where talking world titles.

He's still early in his career and a young fella. He's showing improvements each time out too. I think you're giving him a bit of a hard time cos he's a whopper.

Nah, big boxing fan, I'm used to them being bells - I'm a big fan of George Groves despite his arrogant smirk and overall attitude, for example (although Froch will annihilate him like haha) - but Fury really is poor.

Helenius isn't too bad; he had a bad time of it against Chisora but other than that he hasn't put a foot wrong really, although again I'd only rate him as average and not a genuine challenger to the Klitschko's or anywhere close. Yet I'd back him all day against Fury.

Sprott was tongue-in-cheek but there's still a real chance he would school Fury, it's been done before by lesser fighters against Fury.

I don't even rate the Klitchkos as average TBH Tubes. I rate everyone else well below that.

Plenty of dross about. He can punch at least and he's a good finisher tbf.

with you on this one, helenius is horrendous, who's there about though really, Fury, wilder, the other fury, del boy, price, arreola, with Haye all but gone, usyk can make cruiser, he should be decent in a few years, and Joshua looks the business. I think the division might be lower on standard with wlad gone, but would be more entertaining with these guys fighting each other

It's all there for Joshua. He could be fighting for the European belt in 10 fights and a world title in 20, no problem. I hope he doesn't fall foul of the mistakes Price, Harrison and Khan made early on.

it could be the easiest boxing career in history the way things are going, must be a nightmare to match him

He's the only gravy train about these days at that weight. All the usual suspects will want knocking over soon enough.

The press hype of a gen British title contender will see him make a fortune, and others one too, before he even fights anyone.

I hope he doesn't fight too many bums and pushes himself. He's got everything he needs.
