Have you re-evaluated your ambition this week?

This time last week I was in the depths of despair with Everton I'll be honest.

But fickle or not, some of the things I saw against Villa caused me to actually re-asses how I thought the season might pan out.

With all the quality youngsters coming of age and a promising cameo from Royston, I've kind of gone from thinking 'bottom half, avoid a bottom six dogfight' ambition to something more like 'top half, chase one of the cups'.

Not revolutionary granted but hey, beggars can't be choosers. This is Everton though. Wigan will come and do us 3-0 on Saturday, you just fuggin' know it!

I some of the suggested team sheets I've seen suggest that we could go places, with a little bit of luck and rs, arse and spurs stinking the place, CL is a possibility. We just need the season to actually start now.

No higher than 7th this season still for me, but Stoke (FFS), and i believe Villa are threats to finish above us. We could finish anywhere from 7th to 14th.

If were gonna win a cup we need a little bit of luck for once, ie, a run like what Portsmouth had in 2008.

Hmm, can't really think what I posted before, I'm sure we did a prediction league of some sorts somewhere

Still going for 6th or 7th

8th at best for me, 12th at worst. At least it's exciting - if Moyes trusts in the gifted youth we could have a truly pleasing team to watch but it will need to learn some lessons on the way, on the other hand with the senior squad so paper thin 2 or 3 key injuries could seriously hamstring us.

I think the confidence is pretty brittle , tbh. The furore over the protest and all the rest of it got the juices flowing a bit against Villa and the team went about their business briskly...although we still didn't get the result...something that seems to have gone under the radar since Saturday. That type of atmoshphere wont be replicated very much and I really doubt the spirit is in this squad to pull results out and apply themselves when the chips are down. I'll stick with 7th or 8th (because the league is pretty much shit below that) although I wouldn't be amazed if we fell to 9th or 10th.

I think the top 3 (Utd, Chelsea & City) will break away early this year leaving 4th spot open for someone with the balls to go and take it. It won't be us, sadly. If we went all out positive, it could be. There are not many teams in the league capable of going on a run of results.

Can't see Arsenal, Spurs or (mutters under breath), going on a significant run but one of them will do enough to take 4th, the other 2 will be fifth and sixth respectively leaving us in 7th.
