Have you ever prayed for an Everton win?

I assume having faith and believing in God in the UK is more of a middle-class thing? I've always got that vibe anyways.
The majority of the UK sees it for what it is, a scam.

My children all went to Catholic Schools, but thats simply cos they were nearer.

There are very few true bible shaggers in this country, thank God.

Other faiths are available.

And also, if we assume God is real, with everything we know about him, he wouldnt want to be worshipped, he wouldnt want big lavish buildings in which people fiddled kids and wasted money, he would want the money to go on the poor, not stain glass windows.

But what's the trend usually? The middle-class people tend to be more affiliated with the Church than the working class? Or am I completely making this up? This was my impression anyways.

I dont know any bible shaggers and I know people of all types.

Quite a few people pick up vibes in threads you start.

It used to annoy me, now I'm mildly interested , what is your primary motive?

The FA cup game when Imre Varadi scored, on my knees in the Paddock summoning up Lucifer to.ensure the win.
Maybe I should get in touch again?

You're making it up

That blind fella, Robert Neville in ' I Am Legend ' wasn't middle class so.....

When I was growing up in the seventies all my Catholic neighbours used to go to Sunday service, seems like it's faded away over the years .

What's the point of praying for your team to win? If there were a deity (and I don't think there is*) and that deity could be arsed at affecting a trivial thing like a football match (which I very much doubt) then surely opposition fans prayers will cancel out one's own.

*Having said all this there clearly is evidence for a devil and the pact the rs have with him (or her) to curse us.
