Ged I might be having a few people round to mine if you haven't sorted were your watching it yet, u an the mrs are more than welcome round.
 

I have been waiting for this fight for AGES. I hope Hatton knocks that cocky [Poor language removed] OUT!
 
Mayweather was on Dancing With The Stars (the US version of Strictly Come Dancing I think, the wife watched it religiously) and he was cocky as [Poor language removed] on that as well, claiming he was gonna 'knock out the judges like he knocks out his opponents in the ring'. Add to that the [Poor language removed] he wears, the way he thinks he is god gift to the human race.....I just don't like him. Not that I really like Hatton, but he is WAY more likeable the PBF.

Thanks for the offer mate, I would have loved to but in Escotia - its the night of me birds 30th party. Looks like Im heading into Edinburgh after the party to watch it.

for his weight his hand speed was phenomenal, world champion at different weight divisions, he then failed a drugs test (steroids) in a state that handily had no boxing union and so escaped with a few hundred dollar fine.

he was never the same fighter after that and suffered numerous defeats before slinking into obscurity.

currently there is a boxer that is called the best pound for pound fighter in history, world champion at different weight divisions, phenomenal hand speed.

mayweather is in my opinion, dodgy.

If hatton can walk through him and wear him down then he stands a good chance of winning, and will then take the bbc sports personality award. calzaghe second or third.
 
I think Mayweather is still too good and will win on decision by taking 8-10 of the rounds.

I'd maybe like Hatton's chance a little more if he was still fighting say every 4 months or so and kept busy. BTW: This is what's killing boxing today. You are lucky if your favorite fighters fight twice in a year anymore. Its like if Everton only played like 3 matches/year.

Hatton's best chance is to hope Mayweather doesn't throw too many punches like he did in the DelaHoya fight/sparring match. If this happens Hatton can win the majority of the rounds by outworking him.

I'd like to see Hatton knock him on his ass, maybe next to Manny Paciaquo he's my favorite fighter, but I just can't see it.
 
If they were both fighting a light welterweight then Hatton would win, when he moved up last time he just didnt look the part. For that reason you have to put Mayweather as a slight favourite but it would take a fool to bet against Hatton, he has that thing that all great fighters possess of raising their game on the big occasion.

What are the odds anyway? If I gambled I'd be temped to put on Hatton if he was a 4-1 or 5-1 underdog.
 
He wont be that far out I dont think mate. But I would look at perhaps looking at getting odds on him to stop him in the last four rounds. The price will be good enough in fairness to put 5$ on each round anyway.

Its on HBO PPV isnt it, gutted Im back home as it means staying up late over here.
